A 17-year-old girl was discovered just outside a Pizza Pizza restaurant with two wounds resulting from the discharge of the replica firearm.
The incident unfolded near Central Park Drive and Grenoble Boulevard, close to the intersection of Williams Parkway and Bramalea Road, at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Friday.
The suspect, identified as 51-year-old Hansel Duarte Quintela, now faces a second-degree murder charge.
An unexpected twist occurred when a fifth suspect attempted to intervene and free the victim, resulting in the shooting.
