Toronto police have arrested a 35-year-old man in connection with the June 4 sexual assault of a 62-year-old woman in High Park. Investigators say the woman was walking along a paved path near Howard Park Avenue and Parkside Drive around 10:40 p.m. when an unknown assailant approached from behind, dragged her into a wooded area, and sexually assaulted her. She managed to escape and flag down a passerby, who called police. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Following a month-long investigation, officers arrested Cortny Henry on Wednesday. He is charged with sexual assault causing bodily harm, forcible confinement, robbery, and failing to comply with probation. Police have released Henry’s photograph, citing concerns there may be additional victims, and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
