In a significant breakthrough, two suspects have been apprehended in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred in Toronto’s Don Mills neighborhood on Canada Day.
The incident claimed the life of 19-year-old Fudail Moulvi, a resident of Toronto. Police discovered Moulvi’s lifeless body on July 1 in the area of Lawrence Avenue East and Don Mills Road, where he succumbed to a gunshot wound. Investigators have determined that Moulvi was shot at a different location before being found.
On Wednesday, authorities confirmed that two Toronto men are now in custody in relation to the case.
The first suspect, 19-year-old Komail Kabal Mohammad, was arrested on Tuesday and is facing a charge of second-degree murder. The second suspect, Mustafa Khalid, 20, turned himself into police on Wednesday and is also facing a second-degree murder charge.
