A shocking development has unfolded in the North York community as a 21-year-old Mississauga man, identified as a Toronto rapper (Duvy), has been arrested and charged in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred last year.

The incident took place on October 6, 2022, at 5 Needle Firway near Jane Street and Finch Avenue West. Authorities responded to a shooting call around 1:40 p.m., where they discovered a man with a gunshot wound. Unfortunately, the victim, identified as 28-year-old Osman Bangura from Toronto, succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Police deemed the incident to be targeted.

On Friday, Toronto police apprehended Tafari Minott in connection with the case, charging him with second-degree murder. The 21-year-old Mississauga resident is scheduled to make an appearance in court on Saturday.
