In a tragic incident, a woman was fatally shot late Saturday night in the Humberwood neighbourhood of north Etobicoke. The incident occurred in a residential area on Cinrickbar Drive at Hullrick Drive, east of Highway 427 and north of Rexdale Boulevard, according to the Toronto police.
Officers at the scene discovered a person inside a vehicle who had been shot, and despite performing life-saving measures, the victim died at the scene. The victim was later identified by the police as 24-year-old Adele Tolentino Eid of Toronto. Currently, no suspect information has been released by the authorities.
As the investigation is still ongoing, Cinrickbar Drive remains closed at this time.
